Moody’s assigns Baa2 to Gallagher notes

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Baa2 ratings to Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.’s $500 million of 10-year and $500 million of 30-year senior unsecured notes.

The ratings are the same as those on Gallagher’s outstanding senior unsecured notes.

Gallagher intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include acquisitions and repayment of debt.

The outlook is unchanged at stable.
