By Marisa Wong

Los Angeles, Nov. 2 – Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. plans to price senior notes in two tranches, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

BofA Securities, Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, BMO Capital Markets Corp., Barclays and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. are the joint bookrunners.

Each tranche will feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, which may include funding a portion of Gallagher’s planned acquisition of the treaty reinsurance brokerage operations of Willis Towers Watson plc.

Gallagher is an insurance brokerage and consulting services company based in Rolling Meadows, Ill.
