Panama to offer dollar-denominated add-on bonds due 2030, 2053

Los Angeles, Nov. 19 – The Republic of Panama plans to issue dollar-denominated global bonds due 2030 and 2053, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bonds due 2030 will be a further issuance of, and will be consolidated to form a single series with, the outstanding $1.25 billion of 3.16% bonds due 2030 that were issued on July 23; and the bonds due 2053 will be a further issuance of, and will be consolidated to form a single series with, the outstanding $750 million of 4.3% bonds due 2053 that were issued on April 29, 2013.

BofA Securities, Inc. and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. are the joint bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general budgetary purposes.
