New Issue Palmetto Health, S.C., sells $140.43 million of hospital refunding bonds

New York, July 17 - The South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority sold $140.43 million of series 2013A hospital refunding and improvement revenue bonds for the Palmetto Health System, according to a pricing sheet.
The bonds (Baa1/BBB+/BBB+) were sold through BofA Merrill Lynch.
The bonds are due 2014 to 2028 with a term bond due in 2031. The serial coupons range from 2% to 5.25% with 1.18% to 5.03% yields. The 2031 bonds have a 5.125% coupon priced at 98.668 to yield 5.24%.
Proceeds will be used to finance capital improvements for Palmetto Health and to refund the authority's series 2010A-C revenue bonds.
