Owens-Brockway Glass seven-year notes upsized to $500 million, price talk 8¾%-9%

St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 14 - Owens-Brockway Glass Container, Inc. increased its offering of senior secured notes due 2009 to $500 million from $300 million previously and price talk of 8¾%-9% emerged Monday on the offering, a syndicate source told Prospect News.

"It's going very well," the source said. "I'm sure it's going to be oversubscribed."

Pricing is expected for Wednesday.

The notes are non-callable for four years.

Banc of America Securities is running the books on the Rule 144A deal. Goldman Sachs & Co. is joint lead. Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, Morgan Stanley and Scotia Capital are co-leads.
