Owens & Minor to price $200 million split-rated 10-year notes this week

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, April 3 - Owens & Minor, Inc. plans to price a split-rated $200 million offering of 10-year senior notes (Ba2/BBB) later this week, according to a market source.

Lehman Brothers has the books for the registered offering. Banc of America Securities LLC, Citigroup and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey are the senior co-managers. Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, KeyBanc Capital Markets and Wachovia Securities are the co-managers.

The notes will be callable with a make-whole call.

Proceeds, together with cash on hand, will be used to repay the company's existing 8½% notes due July 15, 2011.

The company is a Mechanicsville, Va.-based distributor of medical and surgical supplies and health care supply-chain management services.
