Moody's: Overwatch unaffected

Moody's Investors Service said the announcement that Textron Inc. (senior unsecured rating A3) will purchase Overwatch Systems, LLC for $325 million in cash is not expected to have implications for the ratings of either entity.

The agency said that becoming a part of the larger and more financially strong Textron group is a favorable credit development for Overwatch. Additionally, Textron has stated that it intends to repay outstanding obligations at closing.
