Overseas Shipholding posts funds to redeem 8 1/8% notes at maturity

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 28 – Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. deposited on Wednesday funds with the trustee sufficient to pay the principal plus accrued interest on all of the outstanding 8 1/8% notes on their maturity date of March 30, 2018, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As a result, the indenture governing the notes has been satisfied and discharged.

As of Wednesday, there were $26,417,460 of the notes outstanding.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.

Overseas Shipholding is a New York-based tanker company.
