Company sells its shares at $5.50 apiece with Leerink Swann as agent

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 14 - OvaScience, Inc. completed a $4.94 million private placement of stock on Aug. 13, according to an 8-K filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Leerink Swann LLC was the agent.
The company sold 897,554 common shares at $5.50 per share.
Based in Cambridge, Mass., OvaScience is a private fertility company focused on new treatments for infertility.
