S&P ups Otter Tail Power
S&P said it upgraded Otter Tail Power Co. and the rating on its senior unsecured debt to BBB+ from BBB after completing a ratings review using its revised group methodology criteria.
The agency said the structural protections in place between the company and its parent Otter Tail Corp. were adequate to insulate Otter Tail Power from the group credit profile.
S&P also affirmed Otter Tail Corp.’s BBB rating.
The outlook for both companies is stable.
