Otter Tail's plan of reorganization confirmation hearing delayed

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 6 - Otter Tail Ag Enterprises, LLC's hearing to confirm its plan of reorganization was continued to Dec. 1 from Oct. 6, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota.

Otter Tail's disclosure statement was approved in June, at which time the plan confirmation hearing had been set for Aug. 18.

As previously reported, under the plan Otter Tail's capital structure will be improved by a new equity drive seeking a $12 million investment.

Otter Tail, a Fergus Falls, Minn., ethanol company, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 30, 2009. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-61250.
