OSX Brasil subsidiary payments suspended for 18 months by Dutch court

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Sept. 29 – OSX Brasil SA said a Dutch court granted an 18-month definitive suspension of payments for the company’s OSX WHP 1&2 Leasing BV subsidiary, according to a news release.

A provisional moratorium was granted on July 9. The definitive suspension is retroactive to that date.

The company said the court’s decision was supported by all creditors present, as well as by the supervisory judge and the OSX administrator.

OSX Brasil is a Rio de Janeiro-based oil and gas holding company.
