OSX Brasil shareholders appoint board members, OK recovery resolution

Pittsburgh, Dec. 11 - OSX Brasil SA said three new members were elected to its board of directors at an extraordinary general shareholders' meeting held Tuesday.

According to a news release, the new independent members are Francisco Borges de Souza Dantas, Luiz Guilherme Tinoco Aboim Costa and Agnaldo Santos Pereira.

The company said its board composition will be in force until the 2014 annual general shareholders' meeting. The current board members are chairman Eike Fuhrken Batista, vice chairman Eliezer Batista da Silva, member Julio Alfredo Klein Jr. and the three new members.

OSX said the extraordinary general shareholders' meeting also approved the ratification of a resolution taken by the board at a Nov. 8 meeting in connection with the company's judicial recovery request and a change in the company's address.

OSX Brasil is a Rio de Janeiro-based oil and gas holding company.
