Des Moines, Aug. 17 - Oro Silver Resources Ltd. settled its private placement of shares for C$2,968,700, down slightly from the C$2.97 million maximum size announced on July 23.
The company sold 4,947,833 shares at C$0.60 each.
The non-brokered deal priced on July 3 as a C$2.7 million placement of up to 4.5 million shares. It was upsized to 4.95 million shares on July 23.
Proceeds will be used for acquisitions and for the company's projects in Zacatecas, Mexico.
Oro is a silver exploration company based in Vancouver, B.C.
