Orckit Feb. 19 shareholders meeting for arrangement vote cancelled

Pittsburgh, Feb. 12 – Orckit Communications Ltd. cancelled the Feb. 19 extraordinary general meeting at which shareholders were to consider an arrangement between the company and its creditors, according to a news release.

The release did not give a reason for the cancellation.

Orckit is a Tel Aviv-based maker of broadband telecommunications equipment.
