Orchid gets FDA approval for Cefadroxil

Tampa, Fla., Sept. 22 - Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. received formal approval from the Food and Drug Administration for its Cefadroxil 500 mg capsules and 1 g tablets.

The Tamil Nadu, India-based pharmaceutical company said it would be launching this oral cephalosporin antibiotic product in the United States through its distribution partner, Par Pharma.
