Orbus investor withdraws from C$8 million private placement of stock

Knoxville, Tenn., March 24 - Orbus Pharma Inc. said the lead investor in an C$8 million private placement of stock withdrew from the deal, which priced Feb. 5.
Nanjing Sanhome Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. had planned to invest C$4.62 million.
The company said it is considering various alternatives in light of this news.
Orbus is a pharmaceutical company based in Markham, Ont.
