By Sara Rosenberg

New York, July 8 – Armored AutoGroup Inc. is looking to get bondholder consents to allow for a new secured credit facility, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

The company also said that it plans to redeem some outstanding notes at IDQ Acquisition Corp.

The solicitation will expire at 5 p.m. ET on July 21.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the solicitation agent.

Armored AutoGroup is a Danbury, Conn.-based manufacturer and marketer of automotive appearance, performance and do-it-yourself A/C recharge products sold under iconic brands.

In March, the company acquired IDQ Acquisition Corp., a manufacturer of do-it-yourself air conditioner recharge products.
