Oppenheimer Holdings to retire $50 million of 8¾% secured notes

New York, March 14 - Oppenheimer Holdings Inc. will retire a total of $50 million, or 25%, of its 8¾% senior secured notes due 2018, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company said that it will deliver a notice of partial redemption to holders of $45 million of the notes. That portion will be called on April 15 at 106.563 plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Oppenheimer said it will also retire the $5 million of notes that it holds.
