Oppenheimer Global High Yield adds Mata, Kelly as portfolio managers

By Toni Weeks

San Luis Obispo, Calif., March 18 – The Oppenheimer Global High Yield Fund added Michael Mata and Christopher Kelly to its portfolio management team, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The appointments are effective as of March 31.

Krishna Memani, Sara J. Zervos and Jack Brown are no longer part of the portfolio management team.

The fund seeks total return by investing at least 80% of its net assets in a wide variety of high-yield debt securities of U.S. and foreign issuers, including those in developing and emerging market countries. The fund may invest up to 30% of its total assets in foreign government securities.

New York-based OFI Global Asset Management, Inc. is the fund’s investment adviser.
