Opera Finance in default after failing to make Jan. 15 notes payment

Pittsburgh, Jan. 21 - Opera Finance (CMH) plc is in default after it did not make a Jan. 15 interest payment on its class A notes within five days of the payment date, according to a notice from trustee HSBC Trustee (C.I.) Ltd.

As previously reported, the company said it does not have enough funds to make the payment.

Opera Finance (CMH) is a Dublin-based credit company.
