Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 7 - Opawica Explorations Inc. said it completed a non-brokered private placement of stock, raising C$1.15 million. The deal priced for up to C$1.28 million on Sept. 23.
The company sold 2.7 million shares at C$0.40 apiece.
Proceeds will be used for the continued exploration and related works primarily on the Atikwa Lake property.
Vancouver, B.C.-based Opawica is a gold exploration company.
