Prospect News, Feb. 23 - The Province of Ontario (Aa1/AA-//DBRS: AA) sold C$750 million in a reopening of its 4% notes due June 2, 2021 at 98.884 to yield 4.134% on Wednesday, a source said.
The notes priced at a spread of 69 basis points over the Government of Canada benchmark.
TD Securities Inc. was the lead manager.
The province originally priced C$750 million of the bond on Jan. 7 at a spread of 70.5 bps over the Canada benchmark. The issue now has a total outstanding of C$1.5 billion.
