Onconova extends $20 million at-the-market equity program

Agent Cantor Fitzgerald selling company’s stock through agreement

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 6 – Onconova Therapeutics, Inc. amended its $20 million at-the-market equity program with Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. on Sept. 30, according to an 8-K filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The program will now continue until terminated by one or both parties.

The agreement was arranged on Oct. 8, 2014 and was set to expire on Oct. 8, 2015. During the three months ended Sept. 30, the company sold 1,940,103 shares under the agreement for net proceeds of $4,749,000.

Cantor will be paid a 3% commission.

The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company is based in Newtown, Pa.
