New York, Sept. 12 - Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. said it has completed a previously announced private placement for C$5,983,500.
The company sold 19,945,000 shares at C$0.30 each.
The non-brokered offering was originally announced Aug. 19 as a C$6.3 million deal comprised of up to 21 million shares under the same terms.
Proceeds will be used for development and exploration activities in Vietnam and to pay down a $2.2 million loan facility arranged by Dragon Capital Markets earlier this year. The rest will be used for general corporate purposes.
Based in Toronto, Olympus Pacific is a mineral exploration and development company.
