O'Leary launches Conservative Income Fund to provide monthly income

By Tali David

Minneapolis, Dec. 2 - O'Leary Funds Management LP announced it has opened the O'Leary Conservative Income Fund to investors starting Dec. 1.

The mutual fund offers investors the opportunity to invest primarily in a diversified portfolio of Canadian dollar-denominated fixed-income securities as well as other income-generating securities such as dividend-paying equity securities, preferred shares and real estate investment trusts of mid and large-cap issuers domiciled in Canada, according to a company release.

"There has been growing investor demand for a conservative balanced fund that pays out a monthly distribution. We are excited with the launch of this fund as it will complement our Canadian income line-up and offer more choice from one of Canada's leading income providers" senior vice president of national sales Stephen Crawford said in the release.

O'Leary is based in Montreal.
