Moody's gives Aa2, MIG1 to Olathe, Kan., G.O. debt

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa2 rating to the City of Olathe, Kan.'s $37.04 million of general obligation bonds, series 211, and an MIG1 rating to the city's $49.485 million of general obligation temporary notes, series 2008-A.

Concurrently, Moody's said it affirmed the Aa2 rating on the city's $167.9 million of outstanding long-term G.O. debt, including the current offering.

Sale of the bonds was expected on May 8.
