Oi board member Rafael Luis Mora Funes gives resignation

Pittsburgh, March 8 – Oi SA director Rafael Luis Mora Funes has resigned as a member of its board of directors, according to a 6-K filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Joao do Passo Vicente Ribeiro, previously an alternate to Funes, will assume the role as an effective member of the board.

Oi is a Rio de Janeiro-based telecommunications service provider. It filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on June 21, 2016 under case number 16-11791.
