OCZ Technology Group negotiates public offering of its common stock

Credit Suisse, Stifel Nicolaus Weisel, Piper Jaffray, Needham assist

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 1 - OCZ Technology Group, Inc. will conduct a public offering of common stock, according to a prospectus supplement filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The deal will have a 30-day greenshoe.

The company will sell 10 million common shares.

Credit Suisse and Stifel Nicolaus Weisel are the joint bookrunning managers; Piper Jaffray and Needham & Co. are the co-managers.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including debt repayment.

OCZ is a San Jose, Calif.-based producer of computer memory and components.
