S&P puts Ocwen on watch
S&P said it placed its ratings on Ocwen Financial Corp. on CreditWatch with negative implications.
“The CreditWatch placement is based on our view that as Covid-19-related forbearance plans increase, it will result in an increase in servicing advances that could strain liquidity,” said S&P in a press release.
S&P said it plans to resolve the CreditWatch within the next three months.
