Oculus to conduct $2.2 million private placement of its common stock

Deal sells 550,000 shares at $4.00; Dawson James Securities is agent

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 5 - Oculus Innovative Sciences, Inc. said it has arranged a $2.2 million private placement of stock. Dawson James Securities, Inc. is the agent.

The company will sell 550,000 common shares at $4.00 apiece. The price per share is a 15.61% discount to the Dec. 4 closing share price of $4.74.

Settlement is expected Dec. 9.

Proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.

Oculus is a medical instruments company based in Petaluma, Calif., that makes tissue care products.
