Arizona Public Service plans to price offering of senior notes

Los Angeles, May 19 – Arizona Public Service Co. plans to issue senior notes, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Barclays, Mizuho Securities USA LLC, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc., TD Securities (USA) LLC, BNY Mellon Capital Markets, LLC and BofA Securities, Inc. are the joint bookrunners. Samuel A. Ramirez & Co., Inc. and Siebert Williams Shank & Co., LLC are co-managers.

Proceeds will be used to repay all or a portion of the company’s $200 million outstanding term loan as well as short-term debt in the form of commercial paper and revolver borrowings.

The electric utility is based in Phoenix.
