S&P lifts OCI Partners

S&P said it upgraded its credit rating on OCI Partners LP to BB- from B+.

The outlook is stable.

The agency also raised the issue-level rating on the company’s senior secured debt to BB+ with a 1 recovery rating.

The agency said that its view reflects its belief that the company has benefited from improved volumes and commodity pricing, especially in 2018; however, it also believes commodity prices will taper in 2019.
