New Issue: OccuLogix to raise $10 million from private placement of shares

Washington, Feb. 1 - OccuLogix, Inc. priced a private placement of shares for about $10 million.

The company plans to sell about 6.7 million shares to institutional investors at $1.50 per share.

Investors will also receive about 2.7 million warrants exercisable at $2.20.

Settlement is expected on Feb. 6.

Cowen and Co., LLC will act as placement agent.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

OccuLogix is a Boston-based ophthalmic device company.
