Obrascon extends consent solicitation for 4¾%, 5½% notes

Chicago, July 16 – Obrascon Huarte Lain, SA has extended a consent solicitation for its €400 million 4¾% notes due 2022 (ISIN: XS1043961439) and its €325 million 5½% senior notes due 2023 (ISIN: XS1206510569), according to a notice.

Noteholder meetings will now be held on July 24 at 6 a.m. ET for the 2022 notes and at 6:30 a.m. ET for the 2023 notes. The meetings were originally scheduled for July 20 at 6 a.m. ET for the 2022 notes and 6:30 a.m. ET for the 2023 notes.

As previously reported, there are €323 million principal amount of the 2022 notes outstanding and €269.9 million principal amount of the 2023 notes outstanding.

The company is seeking a waiver from noteholders regarding their rights to accelerate the 2022 notes in respect of the security interests granted by the company and other subsidiaries to secure all amounts due under the €140 million credit agreement dated April 30 between the company and a syndicate of banks.

Noteholders may be represented at the meeting by proxy or another person or entity by any of the legally permitted means.
