Oasis Petroleum to repay credit facility borrowings via stock proceeds

Minneapolis, Dec. 3 - Oasis Petroleum Inc. plans to use the proceeds from a common stock offering to repay outstanding borrowings under its credit facility, according to a press release.

Proceeds will also be used for general corporate purposes.

Oasis is a Houston-based independent oil and gas exploration and production company.
