Moody's: Oasis notes Caa1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Caa1 rating to Oasis Petroleum Inc.'s proposed senior notes due 2021 and changed the LGD point estimate on the existing notes to LGD4-65% from LGD4-66%.

The outlook is stable.

Moody's said the new notes will enhance the company's liquidity, with net proceeds going to pre-fund capital expenditures through 2012.
