Arena Pharmaceuticals files shelf for 10 million shares

Washington, Nov. 7 - Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. filed a shelf registration for 10 million shares with an estimated value of $102.7 million, according to an S-3 registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The San Diego-based pharmaceutical company said offerings authorized by the shelf would be used for general corporate purposes.
