Moody's rates Nomos-Bank notes Ba3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Ba3 rating to the loan participation notes to be issued by Nomos Capital plc for the sole purpose of providing a loan to Russia-based Nomos-Bank. The amount and the tenor of the notes have yet to be determined. The outlook is stable.

The agency said the rating assigned is based on the fundamental credit quality of Nomos-Bank and does not factor in any support from the bank's shareholders or the Russian financial authorities.
