Moody’s affirms Nippon Telegraph

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed the Aa3 long-term issuer and senior secured ratings of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp., as well as the Aa3 long-term issuer and senior unsecured ratings of NTT Docomo, Inc.

The outlook is stable.

The agency also affirmed the Prime-1 commercial paper ratings for both companies.

“NTT's Aa3 rating reflects its strong cash flow, leading position as a diversified telecom services provider, and a track record of debt reduction even while expanding its business," Motoki Yanase, Moody's vice president and senior credit officer, said in a news release.
