Moody’s rates NextEra notes Ba1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Ba1 senior unsecured rating to NextEra Energy Operating Partners, LP's $1.1 billion senior unsecured note issuance.

At the same time, the agency affirmed NextEra Energy Partners, LP's (NEP) Ba1 corporate family rating, Ba1- PD probability of default rating and SGL-2 speculative grade liquidity rating.

The outlooks are stable.

Moody’s said the Ba1 (LGD4 62%) rating assigned to the senior unsecured notes is the same as NEP's Ba1 corporate family rating and reflects the fact that it is the predominant class of debt at the holding company level.
