New York Racing Association reports $2.05 million July net loss

Pittsburgh, Aug. 18 - New York Racing Association Inc. reported a $2.05 million net loss for July on $15.74 million in net revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
The figures showed a decline from a $4.62 million net income reported for June on $20.93 million in net revenues.
Cash and cash equivalents at July 31 were $13.15 million, compared with $17.46 million at the end of June.
New York Racing Association filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 2, 2006. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-12618.
