New York Racing plan confirmation hearing further adjourned to March 5

Portland, Ore., Feb. 14 - The New York Racing Association Inc.'s hearing for confirmation of its plan of reorganization was adjourned to March 5, according to an attorney.
The confirmation was originally scheduled in late December and has since been adjourned multiple times at the company's request. In a Feb. 6 motion, New York Racing said the reason for the delays is to allow state legislation to catch up with the bankruptcy process.
New York Racing filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 2, 2006 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-12618.
