Des Moines, May 14 - Newstrike Capital Inc. increased the size of its planned private placement of shares to C$20 million from C$15 million.
The company plans to sell 16 million common shares at C$1.25 each.
Haywood Securities Inc. is the agent.
The placement, which first priced on May 2, is expected to settle concurrently with Newstrike's reverse takeover of Stans Energy Corp.
Vancouver, B.C.-based Newstrike, which will change its name to Stans Energy Corp. after the acquisition, currently has no significant operations. Stans is a mining exploration and development company based in Toronto.
