Fitch affirms National Trust Bank

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Nations Trust Bank plc's national long-term rating at A(lka), its senior unsecured redeemable debentures at A(lka) and its subordinated redeemable debentures at A-(lka).

The outlook is stable.

The agency said Nations Trust Bank's ratings reflect the group's modest profitability and capital position in relation to the bank's relatively high-risk loan book and its adequate liquidity.
