National Rural Utilities extends one revolver, downsizes two

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 2 – National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corp. extended its three-year credit agreement to Nov. 28, 2020 and terminated $125 million of commitments under that credit agreement and another $125 million of commitments under its five-year credit agreement, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As of the Nov. 26 closing date, the total commitment amounts under the three-year facility and the five-year facility were $1,315,000,000 and $1.41 billion, respectively. The total commitment amount under the two facilities is $2,725,000,000, of which $2,722,000,000 is available due to letter-of-credit issuances.

The market lender for electric cooperatives is based in Herndon, Va.
