National Bank of Canada calls NBC Trust Capital Securities series 1

Columbus, Ohio, May 22 – National Bank of Canada said its closed-end trust NBC Asset Trust will redeem all C$400 million of its Trust Capital Securities – Series 1.

The capital securities will be redeemed at par on June 30. The final distribution of C$36.175 will be paid in the usual manner on June 29.

National Bank of Canada is a Montreal-based financial institution.
