Kazakhstan's Kazatomprom five-year notes talked to yield 7% area

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, May 12 - Kazakhstan's JSC National Atomic Co. (Kazatomprom) set price talk for its planned issue of five-year unsecured notes (expected rating Baa3/BBB-) at a 7% area yield, according to a market source.

BNP Paribas and JPMorgan are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S offering, which could total about $500 million.

The issue was marketed via a roadshow beginning May 4 in Europe, Kazakhstan and the United States.

Kazatomprom is a Kazakhstan government-owned nuclear holding company.
