Nam Cheong fixes Singapore scheme hearing date for March 1

Chicago, Feb. 6 – Nam Cheong Ltd. announced that a hearing time and date has been set for the new scheme of arrangements proposed between the company and its creditors in Singapore, according to an update.

The hearing will be held in the High Court on March 1 at 10 a.m. ET Singapore time (9 p.m. ET on Feb. 29).

Creditors wishing to participate should inform the group’s legal counsel, BlackOak LLC, by Feb. 29 (projectcauseway@blackoak-llc.com).

A supplementary affidavit has been filed and is available for viewing at a link e-mailed to affected persons.

Trading of the company’s securities on the Singapore Exchange has been suspended since April 28, 2020.

Nam Cheong is a Kuala Lumpur-based offshore marine group that specializes in building offshore support vessels.
