Court terminates M Waikiki's exclusive plan vote solicitation period

Pittsburgh, Feb. 23 - M Waikiki LLC's exclusive period for soliciting votes on its plan of reorganization has been terminated, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Hawaii.

Judge Robert J. Faris said in the order that Marriott International, LLC and Marriott Hotel Services, Inc. can immediately file a plan in M Waikiki's bankruptcy case.

M Waikiki, a San Diego-based hotel investment company, filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 31. The Chapter 11 case number is 11-02371.
